Our little Ballerina

Gracie finished a Disney Princess Ballet class at the Chandler Community Center. This class was made for her. She loved it. Every week they danced to music from a different Disney princess. What more could a girl want.

The Lizard Hunter

Every Steve Irwin wanna be has to start some where. Crew has started with lizards. He loves to catch lizards in our backyard. This is his latest specimen (or victim).

Happy Halloween!

We had a fabulous Halloween. Aaron was in charge of the ward Halloween party. With his fun loving personality it was obviously a success. Aaron's fog machine set off the smoke alarms though, so we had a visit from the Chandler Fire Dept. They had great firemen costumes but were too busy to eat some pumpkin chili with us. Now we are just gorging on all the Halloween candy we got.

The Tooth Fairy

We had our first visit from the tooth fairy. Crew lost his first tooth on the 8th. His second loose tooth is on its way out too. Are kids loosing their teeth earlier these days? I didn't lose my first tooth until I was in 2nd grade.

Halloween Land

When we were up in Vegas we visited Halloween Land Pumpkin Patch. They had lots of fun rides. The kids had a blast and keep asking to go back. Pumpkin patches sure have come a long way.

Gracie got a haircut

Gracie's hair has been in need of a cut for awhile. Thanks to Jamie our fabulous hair stylist, her hair looks so cute. It is so easy to comb through now and you wouldn't believe how many comments I have gotten on her new cut. Too bad she is so fiesty and I could't get a better after picture.

Coyote Pre-Season Party

On Saturday we spent our day at the hockey arena getting psyched for the upcoming season. We got all kinds of free coyote merchandise, we got to see Howler the mascot, and watch a scrimmage from awesome on the glass seats. There were lots of fun activites but the kids probably loved the bouncer the best. The highlight of the trip was getting Shane Doan's autograph. Shane (#19) is the Coyote's team captain and Crew's favorite player.

Gracie's 1st day of preschool

Finally the much anticipated and long awaited day came. Gracie has been excitedly waiting to go to preschool for almost a year now. She is having the time of her life! She loves her teacher, Mrs Lisa, and all her new friends. Now we both just wish she went more than 2 days a week.

Ohio

While I was in Ohio I couldn't resist taking some photos, especially when there are such nice backgrounds available. Oh, how much I miss natural and plentiful vegitation. How did I end up in the desolate dessert?

Layla is #1

Layla had her first birthday! And she really enjoyed her birthday cake. I don't know where this year has gone. My baby is growing up so fast.

While we were visitng Grandpa and Grammy they took us to the best childrens musuem. We were there all day and had a blast! We got to touch sea creatures in a tidal pool, see all kinds of animals that are Ohio natives, look at rocks that glow, and play in a bird watching treehouse. We had fun playing on and in everything! They had some awesome Lego displays too! It was cool to see "The Sky Tonight" at the planetarium. We can't wait to go back to Ohio and the museum.

Caylee is here!

We were so excited to be in Ohio when the newest edition to the Stapleton clan was born. Caylee Marie Sue Jenkins was born on August 21, 2007. She was 6lbs and 19 inches long. This is Megan's first baby. Mom and baby are doing great!

Gracie and Crew thought it would be more fun to play in the bean bag instead of on it. I guess I never thought to tell them not to sit inside the bean bag. I'll have to be more thorough in the future.

Gracie is now enjoying some more time with mom while she anxiously awaits her first day of preschool. She has liked having "girl time" while daddy and Crew are gone. She also likes being the boss now!

first day of kindergarten

My first baby is in kindergarten now. Crew had a rough first day. Poor kid had his milk money stollen and didn't get a turn on the swings even though, according to him " I was really good while I waited". Fortunately there have been no other mishaps. Crew is really enjoying school and loves his teacher Mrs. Yeung.
